Import pdf of 2021 turbo tax

i want to import 2021 turbo tax pdf ...how can i do this

even with a "turbotax" pdf only limited info will be imported. you might as well start from scratch. what you need for a complete import is the XXXXXX.tax2021 file.

Why do you only have a pdf file?  Did you use the Online version or the Desktop program last year?

the tax file is stuck on stupid on One drive which I can't access; the pdf is in dropbox; had to replace 12 yr old laptop...probably Intuit should have the tax file...I think i did it online last year...

If you used the Desktop CD/Download program last year the only copy is on the computer you used and any backups you made.  Like you said it's in One Drive.  Turbo Tax doesn't have a copy of your .tax2021 file.  Why can't you get it off One Drive?

If you used the Online web version you can transfer by logging into the same account.  It's common to end up with multiple accounts. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used

thanks for your input...finally i was able to get One Drive working and got turbotax to transfer my 2021 tax return...so all is good right now...so i didn't do the pdf transfer or even look into it...
