I filed 2018 taxes but never received the refund. I assumed it was because of student loans. After filing for 2019 I received a letter from the IRS telling me that my refund is not being sent to me because 2018 was rejected. I have resubmitted 2018 tax forms but then the corona stuff started happening and they haven't been in the office.
The IRS will look to your 2019 federal taxes first to determine where to send the stimulus payment if you qualify.
If you filed 2019, and the IRS accepted them, and you were getting a refund that was direct deposited, and you did not pay your fees out of the refund, then you should get the stimulus sent to your direct deposit account. If the IRS sent you a letter, that is a good indication they accepted the return. You can check your TurboTax account to make sure.
@Rcheek415
I was wondering the same thing
I got rejected because I don't make any money. The program required me to enter a dollar but truly my AGI is 0. It'sz due to being out. I thought I had to file at the time because that was the initial indication. But I did file a stimulus submission and that was accepted so my question is if my federal return was rejected but the stimulus submission was accepted. Does the federal rejection cancel the stimulus submission ?
Hey this is Angela wiser and I'm on social security disability and I went on the non filers portal from the IRS website when I put my information in and tab the submit button I got an email got saying that my non filers tax return got rejected by the IRS and they said that my social security number was put in wrong and the IRS also asked if I could be claimed as someone's dependent and the answer is no I can not be claimed as someone's dependent and I never type in the wrong social security number and I also got an email with the error code R0000-902-01 on it can you please help me with this problem
Ok I file a 2018 taxes return but I moved will the post office send my stimulus check to my new address
My taxes have been rejected 4 times over and I keep going through the prompts and doing what it tells me to do. I really need my stimulus check and the fact that we can't get it based on the fact of whether or not TurboTax says my information correct is just frustrating.
TurboTax says my 2019 taxes were accepted, and when I check on the IRS website it says they were accepted and being processed. But no money yet. And I haven't gotten my stimulus money yet either.
When i went to the site it says my information is wrong i dont know what else to do.

If my taxes got rejected for 2019 because of identity theft will I still get my stimulus check
My e-file keeps getting rejected..it says it's because my AGI from2018 doesn't match what irs has... But when I look at 2018 return it DOES match.. did go ahead and print and mail my return around February 12th.. but I check irs return status it says nothing... Also when I check the "get my payment" site for stimulus check info it says it hasn't determined my eligibility..... Whati really need stimulus check and it seems everyone else I l ow is getting one.. please help
That just means they haven't gotta around to upload your information give it some time
I've been wondering the same thing I need a pin as well my 2019 was rejected I haven't received the stimulus in the account that was direct deposit 2018 and I didn't need a pin 2018 I'm understanding we all get the check so wheres mine? I've tried to make an account to get a pin and I got kicked off for accidentally not putting my apartment # and used auto fill that didn't recognize my info I'm scared to try again if I get kicked off again that theyll lock my irs account down and I'll be S.O.L. so do I sit and patiently wait or keep trying? Will I just be left out or will it get deposited? And if it was rejected does that mean the IRS doesn't know I was rejected? I'm so confused please help me!!!]!!!
