We need to know more. How old were you at the end of 2019? Were you a full-time student? Did you have more than $4200 of income?
You may be considered to have supported yourself during the year, but it's not possible to say without knowing the particulars of your situation, especially since you still live with your parents. You'll need to sit down and run the numbers yourself to make a determination.
You should compare how much you spent on your necessities, including education expenses, during the year, with how much your parents spent.
Please see the TurboTax Help article “What does "financially support another person" mean?” for additional information.
Since you live at home, your parents are still providing housing, utilities, food, etc. That may amount to more than 50% of your total support.
I made close to 22000 last year. I was 22 at the end of 2019 and i am a full time student.
Thank you for the additional information.
A qualifying child under the age of 24 and living in the home of their parents could still be claimed as a dependent by the parents. Since you are still living at home, your parents are still providing housing, utilities and food.
But a child who provides over half of his/her support cannot be claimed as a dependent on the parents tax return. You may want to review an IRS Worksheet for Determining Support.
To see this worksheet, click on IRS Publication 501. Then go to the index at the bottom of the document and click on the worksheet listed under ‘W’.
