I used Turbotax. My return was rejected, I made modification and refiled. But this time I did not receive a confirmation email from Turbotax. Why?

I used e-filing. The first time I filed Turbotax sent a confirmation email. But when I refiled, I did not receive a confirmation email, how do I know the IRS has received my refiling?

The check e-filing status menu item acts like I hadn't filed the corrected return (that was rejected). It just sends me through the e-file loop again. Even then, now I've filed twice with the corrected return and haven

t received a confirmation email, nor in check status "pending" or the like. Question remains, "How do I know …?"

Are you filing using the online or desktop version? @Dashmo

I'm using the desktop version. Second time through e-filing after making corrections, finally I received a "pending" notice, and now an "accepted" notice. It's like the first time never registered.

That is great to hear it is showing accepted. If the return was rejected, it was never fully filed so it would show as though it was the first time.
