I sent a 1099-NEC to someone for work

Do I have to add this on my tax return? I didn't make any money I paid the money I am just not sure how I report that or if I have to on my tax return.

I think you mean that someone performed services for you and you issued them a Form 1099-NEC to report that income of theirs. You don't need to report it on your tax return unless you are reporting business income, in which case you can enter the amount you paid them as a business deduction against the business income.
