We're sorry to hear that you haven't received your payment yet.
We’re doing everything we can to help customers affected by the IRS error get their stimulus payments as soon as possible. We will have more emails going out in the coming days, so if you haven’t received an email yet, it could still be on its way.
If you didn’t receive an email confirming your stimulus payment is on the way:
Check the IRS Get My Payment tool. The tool should tell you where your stimulus payment was deposited or mailed. The IRS has indicated there’s nothing you can do to change where they send your payment.
If you were entitled to a stimulus payment but did not receive one, and you didn’t pay for TurboTax with your refund last year, you may need to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 taxes to get your money.
Please see the following page for additional information: Why Haven’t I Received My Second Stimulus Check?
I'm there with you. Apparently my second stimulus was deposited into an unknown account on the 4th. Still nothing. No letters or emails. From anyone. I had my turbotax fees took out. Tax return has turbotax card info... But I had updated my deposit information on irs website. Check both daily and still nothing. Almost feel like ... Forgotten.
The IRS recently began issuing a second round of stimulus payments to those eligible. Unfortunately, because of an IRS error, millions of payments were sent to the wrong accounts and some may not have received their stimulus payment. If your second stimulus payment was delivered to a card that you no longer have, you may be able to get a replacement card. See this TurboTax Help.
If you were entitled to a stimulus payment but did not receive one, you may need to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 tax return to get your money.
In TurboTax Online, you are prompted to input stimulus check 1 and stimulus check 2 information under Review down the left hand side of the screen.
You can access your stimulus check choices by following these steps:
TurboTax will compare your two payment amounts to the computation within TurboTax. The computations within TurboTax are based upon the information that has been entered into the tax software. If you are due an additional amount, it will be issued as a Rebate Recovery Credit (RRC) on line 30 of the 2020 1040 tax return.
