Are you using the Windows or Mac version?

Are you installing from a CD or a downloaded installation file?

Are you installing the program on your system's main drive?  (do not install on an external drive/device)

What happens when you try to install?   

Are there any error messages?

Do you get as far as the activation screen?   i.e., are you able to get to the end of installation, but at the end is the activation screen blank, partially blank, or missing?

Or do you enter the license code in the activation screen, but it won't connect to the activation server?

There should be a card in the CD case that says how to download it and you will need the 14 or 16 digit code from it to enter.

BUT......did you already install it from the CD on the first computer? There is a problem if you first installed the CD. It doesn't connect you to an account you can find. You have to call in and ask for the download and a new License Code. Hopefully you get a customer service person who knows about it.

We don't know what your situation is, but since you didn't say otherwise and only mentioned "install", I'll assume you have already downloaded the installation file.   The license code is entered at the end of installation when you get to the activation screen.   Here's how to install the software, depending on whether it's for Windows or Mac:

Oh... you posted another comment with some additional information while I was responding to your first comment.  Now you've mentioned a CD.

Are you installing on a Windows PC or a Mac?

Start by reading the FAQ for your particular operating system in the comment I gave you above.

Do other CDs work in the drive?  You inserted it the right way up?  Some people put the CD in upside down.

I bought the CD from Costco and don't have a CD drive on the Mac.  Was able to download it.  It went very smooth. When you see the download on the screen to download, first click on the blue Copy Code link to the left.  Then after you install it and need to activate you can do Command + V to paste the code into the box.
