I got a 2000 advance on my taxes last year will that hold up my second stimulus check?

who did you use H&R? this could hold up your stimulus because of an IRS mess-up.  if you got an advance the refund was first deposited into a third party bank a/c so the refund could be split to repay the advance and fees and then the balance was forwarded to either the bank a/c you specified for direct deposit or to where you lived if no DD info provided.  sadly it seems the IRS is sending the stimulus to the third party bank.  that a/c was closed after your original refund was issued. so now the stimulus is sent back to the IRS so it can issue a paper check based on your last known address.

I used Turbo Tax and got a turbo debit card which is where it should deposit. Said it was deposited on Jan 4th but i still don't have it with nothing pending.
