I go to add a 1099-misc and receive the "something went wrong" pop up. I've tried multiple browsers and devices. Anyone else experiencing?

If it was imported, please delete it and enter it manually (type it in) .

A 1099-MISC can be for so many different things, the program may be having a hard time with it.

I can’t get that far. I go to 1099 misc under other income and click the + to add another 1099 misc and get the something went wrong pop up. I’ve had this issue on every device I’ve tried (computer, mobile web, mobile app)

Did you delete the 1099-MISC first?

HERE are the steps to delete forms using TurboTax Online. 

Look for the 1099-MISC, delete it and then see if you are able to re-enter it.

I’m having similar issues with other 1099s and have tried deleting. It may be related to imports but I have a lot of imports if I need to manually key in. One reason I use to turbo tax is because these are automated. I’ve never had these issues before. I’m going to end up deleting and restarting. Its less frustrating than trying to fix at this point.

Is there any updates regarding this issue? I am having the same problem as OP. I am trying to file my taxes on the application and it's not working at all. It doesn't matter if it's already added or not, it won't let me Edit nor Add another one. I called Customer Support and they did NOT help whatsoever. When is this error going to be fixed?

What kind of income is being reported on your 1099-Misc?  Self-Employment, Rental, Royalty, etc.?  There are many ways/places to report a 1099-Misc in TurboTax. 

This would help us tell you exactly where/how to enter it in TurboTax.

If you're using TurboTax Online, close the program, clear your Cache and Cookies, then re-open TurboTax.

Try closing TurboTax, clearing your cache and deleting your cookies. Review the TurboTax Help article How to clear your cache and How do I delete cookies? for specific instructions for your browser. Also, reboot your computer.

Did you try deleting your Form 1099-MISC and  re-entering it?

To delete your Form 1099-MISC you can do the following:

For TurboTax Desktop:

1. Open/continue your return
2. Click on "Search" 
3. And in the search bar type"1099-MISC"
4. Select "Jump to 1099-MISC"
5. It'll take you to a screen that shows your Form(s) 1099-MISC that you have entered.
6. Next to the Form 1099-MISC you want to delete, click on the (down-Facing) caret
7. Click on the "garbage can" to delete this form

For TurboTax Online:

1. Open/continue your return
2. Click on magnifying glass for Search in the top right of your screen
3. And in the search bar type"1099-MISC"
4. Select "Jump to 1099-MISC"
5. It will take you to a screen that shows your Form(s) 1099-MISC that you have entered.
6. Next to the Form 1099-MISC you want to delete, click on the (down-Facing) caret
7. Click on the "garbage can" to delete this form

You can enter your Form 1099-MISC information manually using the steps below:

1. Open your return
2. In the search Bar enter Form 1099-MISC
3. Select "Jump to 1099-MISC"
4. Select "Add Another 1099-MISC" or "Did you get a 1099-MISC? Select "Yes'
5. Then you will see the screen "Let's get the info from your 1099-MISC"
6. You will type in the information from your Form 1099-MISC on that page
7. Answer all follow-up questions
