I have the same message and when I click the link to be notified when they're available, the website produces an error.
I too am getting the exact same thing and I have already transmitted my NJ return (e-filed)
We have been advised of this issue and it has been escalated. Please check back for updates.
I am getting the same error and so is my boyfriend who is using his own version of TurboTax Premier. I called the support desk. The woman tried to help but couldn't. She escalated the problem. The person she escalated the problem to said "You can't file with New Jersey until New Jersey is ready to accept 2021 tax filling.". I explained that New Jersey is allowing filling for 2021 taxes beginning 1/24/2022. No response. Finally she suggested I call back on Monday thru Friday between 8am and 5pm Pacific time to see if I could get someone who knows about this issue. It is sad since we are both ready to file and both stuck due to this problem. It seems like a bug because if you click the link associated with the message stating you can be notified once the file is ready, after entering the required email Ids, you get an error stating "Unable to load message Id, no forms or products have been specified. Please close the window and try again." 🙄
So to begin with I too spent about an hour and a half on the phone with a very nice entry level tech support Pete person named STARR. She was very nice and accommodating and sign on to my computer through an app I believe they called Grace. She was able to see my screen but not control it she then called an upper level tech support person and was acting as the middle voice during a phone call I was on the phone with her with. The upper-level tech support person kept trying to blame everything but TurboTax. I'm quite experienced with computers and software and every time they try to come up with some otherBS excuse. first they tried blaming Adobe Acrobat then they tried blaming New Jersey tax department yada yada yada bottom line is TurboTax is not adding the state tax information to the PDF file that it creates. I myself was able to upload my taxes to both federal and state so as far as I know they went but I guess I'll have to wait a few days to find out. Issue is purely TurboTax not adding the New Jersey state tax info to the PDF file it creates when you go to save it. Period, bottom line end of story.
Thank you Lindsay. And can you please relay the information to the first and second level text support people so that they don't keep people on the phone for a very long time when you guys have an issue and you don't have an answer for it I would much rather I have been told that then have to have sat on the phone for an hour and a half and you guys weren't even able to resolve the issue. See my other posts for more information
please email me when New Jersey returns are available to print or download, at [email address removed]
It appears that some New Jersey state tax forms are available but several are still pending. Please check the status of the specific forms needed for your New Jersey return in the link below. If you find that all of your forms are available, please comment back.
State forms availability table for TurboTax individual (personal) tax products
NOT AVAILABLE and this is not a resolution to the TurboTax software (I used desktop) issue. AND TurboTax already allowed me to e-file (and charged me $20.00 to do same) which I now can only assume is going to be a mess to resolve.
I followed all instructions and am unable to print any forms related to New Jersey income tax. How am I supposed to file my State Taxes if the information you provide is not accurate?????
I have a very simple return. I'm not using any of the forms that are pending based on the link you provided. Turbo Tax simply does NOT generate the output for the return for both Premier and Home &Business versions for the state of NJ. It's working for PA, but not NJ. The software should look to see if I have any data in these forms that are pending and if not, they should be skipping them and not block the output. Please advise what is the time frame for resolving the issue with your software. Thank you
This issue has NOTHING to do with anything else other tan TurboTax not generating ANY of the NJ State forms to save as the .pdf.
I e-filed BOTH State and Federal yesterday AND have gotten replies from BOTH State and Federal indicating my returns have been accepted.
I really wish software companies would recognize their own issue and instead of deflecting the blame on "other" things just recognize the issue, be HONEST with their customers and say "we recognize there is an issue with OUR software and are working to resolve it". I was on the phone with Intuit tech support for 1 1/2 hours on Saturday going round and round with upper level support (through a 1st level support person who was wonderful (Starr)). Even she was able to recognize the circles upper level was going in.
Having the same problem printing my New Jersey return! Already efiled via Turbo Tax. Spent 90 minutes on the phone with a Turbo Tax employee yesterday but they were unable to resolve the issue! They say NJ hasn't made forms available yet but that doesn't make sense! The link to NJ Form Availability shows the "Information Worksheet" as "available" under Print but "unsupported" under E-file. This is likely the source of our problems!
I agree. I am very frustrated with this unsolved problem.
