No, you need the actual W-2. Even if your W-2 can be imported by TurboTax, in order to import it you need some other information from the W-2 besides the EIN. Ask the employer for a duplicate copy of your W-2.
You can try the auto-import feature (Federal Taxes -> Wages & Income -> Choose -> Import Summary: VIEW)
Depending on employer and how they handle their W-2's (i.e., ADP, Ceridian, manually created by paper, etc) you might need only to enter things like SSN, Last name, and W-2 box 1 amount in order for the auto-import to work.
Still, it's a very good practice to have paper copies of the W-2, and cross-check numbers and ALL boxes VERY carefully, reporting discrepancies or inaccuracies with employer or even IRS (they're very friendly and exceedingly professional); but the auto-import, if it works, could help in a pinch.
