Thanks for your response which described that standard way of importing financial data. I've done these steps many times with no success. Trying 2 different financial companies. Still no success. There's something I'm not doing - setting a "flag", opening the financial company, using the wrong browser. etc - that keeps the import from working. So, any suggestions?

If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.
To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings:

Sorry, but this doesn't work. I did it for a few financial institutions and all showed data was imported and to open TT...nothing imports.
From what you are saying @IslandDucks sounds like it's due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access. Have you also tried the other suggestions below regarding VPNs and Anti-Virus?
