Also here for the same reason. As if filing taxes wasn’t already a nightmare. Is the plan to wait til further notice to re-file? Instructions are bit unclear here

The difference? Now they charge you.

It’s the same thing they did last year they’re taxing your stimulus money by taking away part of your federal credit

Same Oregon Federal Tax Liability Hold with me.    QUESTION:   After applying the necessary Product Update on or after Feb 17,  do I just need to only re-eFile the Oregon form (since my Federal form was accepted), or do I need to re-file both State and Federal forms?   Logically,  only the State form would need re-filing,  but logic does not always prevail.

I just tried refiling - rejected again, but fyi I only had to refile state.

I was just told in a chat session that it wouldn't be fixed till the 24th.  Not real confident since they also said it would be fixed on the 17th.

I just refiled again this morning, now for the 4th time. Within 2 hours (its 10am), got another rejected state return. Honestly, if the issue is something wrong with my federal return, there is going to be hell to pay because that was already filed and accepted a week ago. This is why I should have done HR Block's tax service. My federal and Wisconsin return were accepted promptly.

I re-filed on February 17th, 2022, and received a rejection for the same error "

Reject Code OR_FederalTaxLiability - There is a known issue with your Oregon return around Federal tax liability subtraction that we are currently correcting. The third Federal economic stimulus payments were not being included in the calculation. Please come back on or after February 17, 2022 and apply any product updates (online products update automatically)....."

Then another user said chat support asked to try again on the 24th? If that is the case, please update the timestamp in the instructions.

I’m going to see if I can withdraw my state return from TurboTax and re-file it on a different website that has the current up-to-date software, I’m chatting now I’ll post back if I get an answer I want
