I'm needing to amend my 2023 tax form and to be able to do it electronically TurboTax is telling me I would've had to file my 1040 on TurboTax. Well I did file on here and it was accepted but it didn't save as a TurboTax file in the program but as a PDF on my computer. How do I fix this to save me from having to print and mail it out?

you cannot convert a xxx.pdf to a xxx.tax2023 file. if you used online the file should still exist. if you used desktop the file may still be there since Turbottax creates a hidden backup of the file in the same folder as the actual return. it will start with a"~". With a windows computer it would likely be in c:\users\user name\documents\Turbotax folder.
And see my reply on your other post. If you can open your return in the Desktop program you have the .tax2023 file on your computer.
