I need help on this question folks...here is my unique situation:-
1.) I did NOT make the estimated state tax payment in Jan '2022 for 2021 instead I ended up filing for an extension in Apr'2022 for Tax year 2021 and made some payment.
THEN
2.) When I filed my tax returns in Oct'2022 for Tax Year 2021 - I was still short and ended up paying more taxes and of course with it penalty and interest payments.
So, my question is:
What do I show in my estimated state taxes paid in 2022?
Is is
1.) Money I paid in Apr'2022
2.) Money I paid in Apr'2022 + Money I paid in Oct'2022
3.) Do I include the Interest and penalty charges
Any and all help is appreciated.

What do I show in my estimated state taxes paid in 2022?
Is is
1.) Money I paid in Apr'2022 NO -- EXTENSION PAYMENT
2.) Money I paid in Apr'2022 + Money I paid in Oct'2022 NO --- EXTENSION + BALANCE DUE ON 2021 RETURN
3.) Do I include the Interest and penalty charges NO --- NEVER LISTED
NONE OF THESE LISTED ARE 2021 ESTIMATED PAYMENTS.
Thanks so much!
Just a clarifying follow-up question, isn't the extension payment also the estimated state taxes I paid - it's just that I paid them in April'22 instead of paying them in Jan'22?
