How do I get to the jump to link
@Matthew17 wrote:How do I get to the jump to link
Are you using Online TurboTax or the desktop version (CD/download)? And what are you wanting to search for? i.e., what topic are you wanting to navigate to?
Im using downloaded business turbo tax. and I’m trying to locate where to submit a capital gain on land sold for a simple trust. The search engine says to search for “sold second home” then select the jump to link. I don’t see the jump to link?
Here are the directions to report the sale of land (they are the same as selling a 2nd home). However, if you are preparing an actual trust return, you have to be using TurboTax Business. The instructions are for reporting the sale of land on your personal tax return.
Where do I enter the sale of a second home, an inherited home, or land on my 2019 taxes? It is under the Investments section if you have trouble with the Jump to link. @hhnurse61

Since you said "business TurboTax" and mention a "trust", I'll assume you are referring to the dedicated Business Edition (partnerships, corporations, estates/trusts, etc.)
NOTE: Also see the info @DawnC just left for you just above my posting.
I don't have that product, but I can tell you how it works in a personal tax product and provide an image that may help you, just in case it works the same in the dedicated Business Edition. Fewer people in this forum are using the Business Edition. Most people here are using personal tax products.
When entering the search term, ignore anything in a dropdown list. After entering the term click the adjacent blue magnifying glass (see image below), then the "jump to" should appear.
In the personal edition when I click on "jump to sold second home" it takes me to the interview to enter another investment sale and starts the investment sale interview, where you can choose the actual type of investment that was sold. The process also works when searching on the term sale of second home , clicking the magnifying glass, and choosing the jump.

Thank you for taking the time to try and help me even though I’m using the dedicated “business” version of turbo tax that most people in this community aren’t using. I tried doing what you said and it’s still not helping. I’ll keep working on it.

I don't even know if the Business Edition has the jump feature or not, since I can't test it. Have you tried the term investment sales to see if it brings up a jump? It does in the personal tax products.
In any case, if you can't use a jump shortcut, you can always navigate to the investment sales topic manually in the usual fashion. Or maybe you can use this other method:
In the top menubar, do you have a Tools menu like the personal products? If so, click on Tools, and in the dropdown menu choose Topic List. When you click on a topic in that list, it should take you to it. In the personal products the topic in that list is "Stock, Mutual Fund, and Other Investment Sales."
By the time you figure out these 2 shortcut methods, it would have probably been faster just to navigate to the topic manually in the usual fashion.
Where is the Jump To move on turbo tax

If a Jump To link is available, it will display when you search on a particular topic. However, it's quirky and has to the search has to be performed exactly right. I can be more specific with an example and possibly an image, if you say what you are trying to find.
What are trying to find, and I can either tell you how to use the Jump To for it, or tell you other ways to navigate to it. And are you using Online TurboTax or the desktop software?
