How do I know what state my exempt-interest dividends are from on my 1099-DIV from Ameriprise? It lists it nowhere do I assume it is my homestate?

I uploaded my 1099-DIV from Ameriprise but now I am being asked what state my exempt-interest dividends are from. All I see on that line on the document is an amount.

Look up information about each fund that had exempt interest dividends. For example, if it was a Vanguard fund, you can find information on the Vanguard website that lists the percentages from each state.
