I am not sure why an "expert" cannot solve this problem within an hour rather than waiting days. It has been a an issue now for at least two years. I called the support line and she looked for an answer in the community support pages. I did that already. She sent me a link and wanted to get off the phone ASAP. It was a link from 2019 taxes. Turbotax needs to have actual software engineers answering these issues not phone jockeys.

The response Expert Cass0317 gave had a Contact link. That provided a telephone number to call. I was able to talk to a TurboTax representative about the problem. I shared my screen with that person so she could see my problem. While I was on the phone and sharing my screen, I hit transfer efile for Wisconsin and the return was successfully transmitted.
I had previously tried all of TurboTax's suggested fixes and nothing worked. I don't really understand why the return when through for her, but that doesn't matter to me because it was successfully submitted.
I'm having the same issue and wasted four hours today talking with three different "tax people" at TurboTax, none of whom seemed to understand my issue, let alone solved it for me. Screen sharing would not work so no one was able to look at my return. The second person was messaging with tech support while she was talking to me and eventually passed along a message from the tech that "no tech support was available" and that my only option is to paper file. The third person eventually recommended an upgrade to TT Online Self Employed, assuring me that it would handle an S-Corp return, adding, "it'll handle pretty much anything you need." I don't think she had heard of an S-Corp and had no clue what I needed. I'm so fed up I'm planning to research alternatives to TT for next year.
I am in the same boat as everyone on this thread. Been on phone with TurboTax support for hours. Already filed federal form so feeling very trapped. Starting to lose sleep over this issue at this point.
UPDATE! Wisconsin s corp tax return transmitted successfully! I did not do anything on my end. I already had my return open in TurboTax Business 2020 from previously unsuccessfully transmitting return from a few days ago. I just hit Transmit Now and it worked. Glad TurboTax fixed the bug!
Mine did too just now. Don't see why they couldn't post an update for us.
TurboTax program updates typically occur on Thursdays, so if folks are now able to efile the Wisconsin state corporate return, maybe this week's program update fixed something in that regard.
I was able to e-file my Wisconsin return just now. A lot of stress and frustration could have been avoided if we had known a fix was coming, and when, and also if TT phone support people had more thorough training.
Another piece of information that would have been nice to know. So frustrating, I will not use this product again.
I had the same problem, 2 calls and 4+ hours later I was promised the update coming on 3/10 would resolve the error (DNS had too many characters.) It did not.
I ended up starting a new return tonight, entering in all info, not submitting the Federal but attempting to efile the WI S Corp return and it worked. What a waste of time for a Very simple Corp return.
