How do I confirm if I am receiving credit for being doubled taxed in my home state and work state?

Checking my TurboTax return against a different platform's, and the numbers are drastically different. I think it has to do with double taxed income but can't find a "definitive" response.

using multiple platforms requires that all info be the same including using the proper forms.

Generally, to get the correct credit, the non-resident state must be completed first - at least in Turbotax.  

Post your resident state and the other state and we'll be able to tell you where to look for that tax credit.
