How can I enter a detailed description directly to a form?

I need to enter a detailed description directly on Schedule E.  However, when I go to FORMS mode, it won't let me type anything.  Is there a way to type directly on the form?

I have the same problem. "Desc of Other Property" - "(Short Term) Rental Property"

Schedule E, Copy 1 Section 1 "Description of Property" line "Type: 3" "Rental Property" ,  or "(Short Term) Rental Property"

Either way the program doesn't like "Type: 3" line.

Federal return doesn't generate error, PA state does, and I can't change to acceptable verbiage.

I'm not seeing the same issue.  I'm in Forms and working with Schedule E.  I can EDIT Property Description, and Property type has a drop down menu.  3 is Vacation/Short Term.  These can also be edited in the step by step.

I should have qualified my problem better. It is PA  schedule E that comes back with the error. I cannot change the error on the form. The form picks up the verbiage of the block following "Desc of Other Property [ ]". I've tried to insert other phrases in the block, to no avail. The code "3" (Vacation/Short Term Rental) is generated correctly on the form, but the description following the "3" is shaded in blue with red lettering.
