Healthcare Penalty?

Is 2018 finally the year we don't have to worry about the healthcare penalty anymore? 

How will this impact the rest of healthcare - i.e are there still going to be Marketplaces, Premium Tax Credits, Form 1095-A and Form 8962's to reconcile at tax time?

I learned from a tax accountant that there is still penalty for lack of medical insurance for tax year 2018. However, it will be eliminated for 2019

Tax Year 2018 works essentially the same way as it did last year with regard to the ACA filing process.  The individual mandate penalties were repealed for Tax Year 2019.
