Tax Year Prior to 2020: Have anyone received their stimulus check on their TurboTax card? Since TurboTax can not seem to give us an answer!

Same way it did me expect being locked out...then why have us enter bank information just to get an check‼️ It’s not fair..TurboTax messed everything up

i am seeing a lot of people post that they are getting their paper check on April 24.

Separately, there are news stories that if you update your DD information by April 23, you'll get that direct deposit by May 1,

The IRS had to set a cutoff between paper and DD since they are about to begin sending out paper checks. 

So if you are to get a paper check on April 24, you are actually better off than getting the DD on May 1. 

still 80 million Americans waiting on their payment.

My 2018 return was filed with my bank information and deposited that way, my 2019 return I used Turbocard opted for advance refund and had my filing fees deducted from the refund. I didn’t receive a refund on the Turbocard so I entered my bank info which is same account as 2018 return on 04/15 and I still haven’t received a updated scheduled payment date just confirmation it will be deposited and to wait for a payment date. My fiancé is on Ssdi didn’t file taxes for 2018 or 2019 and he too didn’t receive a refund either so he Entered his info on the nonfiler tool also and received successful efile confirmation but still no stimulus refund or updated scheduled payment information so I don’t believe anything that the IRS or TurboTax says because it’s all chaotic misinformation and nothing is aligned across the board. Some people are receiving it on their Turbocard some people received it in their bank account and didn’t use the payment tool they were anticipating it on their card some people are being told it will be mailed  and most aren’t getting any payment updates. But thank you for sharing your information hopefully we are lucky enough to get a answer or refund soon.

@NCperson can you post a link to the stories about the DD payment of May 1?  I did see something about needing to enter DD info in IRS site by 4/23/2020 - but I never saw the disbursement date topic come up

I already entered my DD information and they still sending me an check even after I enter my DD!!! It won’t let me change nothing...

And the checks aren't getting to us on the 24th that's when they are mailing it so depending on where you live depends on how long it will take in the mail.

@johnsonzachary1981 - this is from the IRS report to Congress dated April 16... this is what the IRS committed to as a weekly cadence

Individuals can provide their direct deposit information by using one of the two IRS portals: (1) Get My Payment (for tax filers who did not provide direct deposit information on their 2018 or 2019 return) and (2) Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info (for individuals who are not required to file tax returns). Individuals who enter their direct deposit information into the portals by Thursday of a week reportedly will be paid the following week. Also, taxpayers expecting a tax refund for 2019 can provide their direct deposit information to the IRS by filing a 2019 federal income tax return if they have not already done so in lieu of using the Get My Payment portal.

Ok. So I contacted turbo and ask them where would my check go to since I got a card they told me on the same card I got my federal bc they sent me a card for my federal and my state went to my bank account.So I check the portal the day it came out like Tuesday. They told me I am getting one but they don’t have my direct deposit information.I put all my information in for my direct deposit. Everytime I look it tells me that I’m getting one and it will be sent to my direct deposit and gives me the last 4numbers. But I’ve heard people say even though they put their DD in they still getting paper checks and the website locks them out. Well how do y’all know y’al getting paper bc mine still say they don’t have a date but it’s getting sent to my account. But I can check it multiple times and it never locks me out so I’m confused bout that bc I never got lock out. But it’s still giving the same message since Wednesday. No date but it will be sent to my DD. At this time it is what it is.

Did you update the IRS portal with a different personal account number or the Turbo Debit card account and routing #? I’m in the same boat I never received the stimulus on my Turbo Debit Card and once Wednesday came I updated it with my other personal account information...I check it every day and it says it will be direct deposited and it will update it with a date but still no date

My sister and I both used TT and we both switched out DD to a different account, I got locked out she didn't . Then Saturday I checked mine and it stated what I posted, I told my sister to check hers and sure enough hers said the same thing.

@NCperson Thank you for the update - I guess I'll check for that update on tracker on 4/22/2020 or so and assume an update will show the DD date ---- I'm guessing its just being lumped together with the scheduled payments for SSI, etc. individuals.

@Metamoore34  Yea it didn’t lock me out either and it’s staying mine going into my direct deposit and showing me the last 4 digits of my account. But it’s not giving me a date or anything so I’m not sure guess it will get to me when it does
