I'm trying to file a federal and state 1041 for a Trust. It keeps checking and rechecking and says I'm ready to file but when I hit Transmit Returns Now it says 'We need to make one more check'. It then circles again and I just go round and round and can't file.

There are a few steps you can take to potentially resolve this.

    1. Save and close your return.
    2. Restart TurboTax Business and agree to updates (if any).
    3. Open your Trust return.
    4. Run Federal Review and resolve any questions that arise.
    5. Attempt to e-file only the Federal return.
    6. If that is successful, go to State and run the review.
    7. Attempt to e-file only the State return.

If neither is successful when attempted separately, we recommend that you contact a Product Support expert using this information What is the TurboTax phone number?.

We are not able to troubleshoot e-filing in this forum. But the phone experts should be able to help you.

Update: I've filed the federal return but the state (Wisconsin) is still sending me in circles. Is there a WI state update to the Business product that hasn't yet come out? I'm current on all updates issued so far.

There are no updates to Wisconsin.  And this is not a widespread issue.
