Glitch: Wisconsin State Refund showing up too high of an amount

TurboTax,

Upon reviewing the diagnostic file you provided, the issue is not with your W-2s , it's with your 1099-Rs. On your entries for your 1099-Rs  under State Information, you have entered the total gross distribution in box 14, for State Tax Withheld. That figure belongs in Box 16, State Distribution Amount. You did that for two of the 1099-Rs, but  in one, your largest distribution, it looks like you correctly entered actual withholding.

Your  WI 2024 estimated tax  applied from your 2023 return appears to be accurate.

Check over your entries in that interview section carefully, make the appropriate changes, and you will arrive at an accurate result.
