Form 8960 Line 5a - TurboTax for Mac

How does TurboTax calculate Form 8960 Line 5a on TurboTax for Mac? Is it just the total from Schedule D? On Mac when I click on the value it just says calculated and does not take me to where it comes from. I also cannot right click to get more info. Thank you.
