Doing my mother's return for 2020. She passed away on 7/4/2020. Turbo Tax saying she is eligible for $1800 in stimulus (I'm assuming 1200 for 1st stimulus and 600 for 2nd). Can't believe the gov is giving her money after she's gone. But that's a discussion for another forum. Turbo Tax says I need to complete form 1310 but then tells me that form is not ready yet. What's up with that?? Tells me to check back for updates to their software. Meanwhile I'm dead in the water as I cannot e-file or mail my mother's return without 1310.
Also, Turbo Tax asks for my email so they can notify me when they'll have 1310 ready for me. I enter my email address and get this message:

Thank You

What the heck does that mean? Did they get my email or not????

Yes, TurboTax received your email. The reply means that unless the TurboTax address is included as a regular contact, your notification could go to the Spam folder and be missed.
I recommend waiting for Form 1310 because mailing in the return will take at least 6-8 weeks to process.
Electronic filing takes 2-3 weeks.
Even with a delay for the form, it will be faster than mailing it in.

Thank you for that reply:
Actually this is the message I received when signing up for email notification when 1310 is available; it did not cut & paste in my original post. :
Unable to load messageid Invalid number of dom parameter components specified (3) : Required format: dom=[federal/state formsetid];[form id];[form name];[platform];&dom=... for en_US
What does this mean?
The best thing to do is to keep track through the following forms availability table. Right now the date of availability is 3/4/21, which is subject to change.
