There is a place in the personal income section called "miscellaneous" or "miscellaneous other" income which is a catchall for any income that doesn't fit anywhere else.
It's the last option on the income index screen if I remember correctly -- NOT to be confused with the similar-sounding 1099-MISC "miscellaneous" income which contractors and freelancers get for non-employee income.
Anyhow you can report the interest in that catchall section and remove the 1099-INT
Choose to review that entry and see what is missing. You can do a search for "1099-INT" and then you can select the correct section.
You have entered it in the correct place. Double check that you entered the interest income as if it had been reported in Box 1 of Form 1099-INT and no other entries were made.
