Failed Validation Error Code 54

All of this happened right after I installed the latest update.  There clearly is a coding issue with turbotax business. And unable to efile was not the only bug in this update.  There was a message that popped up that said i have used all my efiles, which was flat out not true.  And also a problem with special depreciation deduction (new law in the big beautiful bill) which looks a lot like 179 depreciation deduction. In this case, the interview instructed that a new asset placed in service in 2025 was eligible for special depreciation, so i took it.  But in the federal final review, the interview gave an error that the asset was not eligible.  After looking at the IRS details/instructions, the asset was 100% eligible for the special depreciation, and hence the review was 100% wrong. But i could not file my business taxes until this was resolved.  In my desire to finalize the business taxes, i removed the special depreciation (took normal 7 yr for the asset) to allow me to file.  But of course error code 54 showed up.

I too have this problem filing my federal return with Turbo Tax Business 2025. 

It’s curious that we must post to a topic that started in 2024, rather than the one that was opened for 2025 that I now am not allowed to access.  That thread has link:

This morning I was able to access this link and was encouraged because the last post was by a Turbotax employee saying that he/she was reviewing log information that was submitted by 2 or more people experiencing this problem.   But now when I click on that link I'm told I don't have permission to access it.

I am still getting this error in TurboTax Business as of 15 March.  It is holding up three Trust returns.  I have tried turning off anti virus and firewalls.  Someone had success reattaching the 8453 form, but no luck for me.  I haven't tried reinstalling the app from my download.  Guess that is next...

I finally was able to get the federal portion separately, but I have the same issue for the state return with 1041.  Clearly, this issue is happening to a LOT of us.  And it should have been fixed by now.

Can you guys actually give us a fix on this with the software and stop sending 'lists' of things to try?

This bug has not been fixed and is preventing many from e-filing.
