My account was transferred from TD to Charles Schwab in 2023. I received notice from Schwab that the TD's 1099 is ready and I can download 1099 in PDF from Schwab. But when I try to import into TurboTax after inputing correct TD account and document ID, I got error, reads, "This import was unsuccessful. There isn't any tax-related info to import right now. No problem - we'll help you enter the information and continue with your return. I don't have any VPN. Any suggestions?

If you are using TurboTax Online, try importing using a different browser.

I am using TurboTax desktop version.
I had the same issue. I logged onto my Schwab account. I found the TD Tax information listed with the Schwab tax information. I downloaded the TD Ameritrade forms and entered the information directly into Turbotax. It was a bit of a hassle, but you won't have to deal with it next year.
Thanks for sharing. That is what I will do after waiting for a couple of days to see if TD will update.
