estimated taxes

Turbo Tax 2024 has not applied my 2023 overpayment that is shown on line 36 of my 1040-SR to my estimated taxes..

My line 35a also shows 0.

On the Summary page, it shows the Total Tax correctly as well as the Refund Applied to ES Tax,  but the total amount of the estimated tax payments is just 110% of the Total Tax (not minus the overpayment)

I can pay my estimated tax as I want, but I am concerned that if this is a Turbo Tax error, what other errors might there be in my return?

    If your overpayment applied to 2024 is  not included in Line 26, you have to continue working on the return to add that in.

    You are responsible for any errors on your tax return.

    @fanfare   I believe he means the 2024 overpayment being applied to next year 2025 on line 36 is not being accounted for to calculate the estimated payments FOR 2025.

    @Kiwi  In your top question did you mean TT2024 has not applied your 2024 overpayment?

    If four equal ES voucher payments add up to 110% then you met the Required Annual Payment.

    Applying some refund to 2025 tax merely reduces the amount due on Tax Day

    But, you can't make four equal ES voucher payments now because we're coming up on the third payment.

    The amount applied will go toward your first voucher payment and the second if it is two times the voucher payment. In which case two payments are needed.
    This eliminates any penalty.

    @Kiwi

    I have already paid my estimated taxes correctly.

     My question was not how to pay my taxes, but it was a concern that Turbo Tax had not subtracted my 2024 overpayment when it calculated my 2025 Estimated Tax Vouchers.   Shouldn't it?
