After clicking on Review, the program says there are a number of errors but when I want to continue to remedy the errors, I receive an "error" message saying Turbotax has to be closed. The first error was for a Form 3800 for which a carryforward credit was shown. I don't care about the credit since it requires much info from past year's returns, but I cannot delete Form 3800. Is this problem known and about to be remedied and, if not, how do I delete the Form 3800 (hoping that cures the issue)?

Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:
Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.
If you are sure you don't need this form, you can delete it.
If you are using:
Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return. There could be unintended consequences.
