Entering info from K1 of a PTP with supplemental schedules

Do you think it is easier to enter the K1 supplemental information by going

to the Form View instead of Step-by-step? I am getting errors in my forms that I

cannot figure out how to clear up.  I'm a TT newbie, I used Ultra Tax for many years and

switched this year.

Yes -- sometimes it's easier to go into Forms Mode to check your information.  Many of the fields have a QuickZoom (magnifying glass icon) to take you to the area for entering supplemental information for that field.

At the top of the K-1

To do this:

  1. Go into Forms Mode by clicking on the Forms icon in the top right of the blue bar
  2. In the Forms in My Return list on the left, click K-1 Partner.  The form will appear on the right side of the screen.
  3. You can scroll through the form.  There are QuickZoom links below most lines to enter additional information.
  4. To return to the interview, click on the Step-By-Step icon in the top right of the blue bar.
