Well said. Not glad, but relieved that others are finding this such an issue. I wish they "didn't fix what wasn't broken". Thanks for posting this. Sorry you are also having issues with them also
I found that if I chose "Skip this Import"
TT will then go to a page that lets me enter the data manually.
This is counter-intuitive. Please use a clearer label in future.
how it used to work, from the OID input screen which is still working the old way, and you could turn off the import screen...
In my version, the option is NOT available which is why I had such problems when I did my taxes
The step by step advice above is woefully out-of-date since obviously the program has been changed. The program no longer seems to provide an easy way of entering dividend and interest income manually like it has in the past by selecting the payor and then adding the various items line by line. And, when I called Turbo Tax for help, the representative could not understand what I was trying to do. It appears like Turbo Tax has tried to fix something that wasn't broken and in the process has made it more difficult to enter this information.
