I'm getting the same error while transmitting NC state return. I was able to e-File Federal tax return by temporarily switching NC state filing method to 'Mail-in'. I am starting to wonder if this is an issue with NC state Department of Revenue systems not being able to accept e-File returns or rather something on the TurboTax side that they are trying to fix by Feb 24th. When I placed the Turbotax order for NC e-filing, there was no mention of the Feb 24.
If it is a problem with NC State not being able to accept eFiled returns, then all other Tax softwares - i.e., H&R, Taxact, etc, should have the same issue. Do any of you know if it is the case?
Same issue with Federal and North Carolina. Error message indicates "Tax Year 2021 transmissions are not available. Turbo Tax is not ready to process Tax Year 2021 for this return."
Uncomplicated return using desktop Windows Premier product. Green checks through review with no errors - - what gives?

The North Carolina Individual Income Tax Return Form D-400 is not yet available for e-filing. It is estimated to be available on 02/24/2022
Go to this TurboTax website for North Carolina state forms availability - https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_nc_online_individual.html
If you have not filed the Federal tax return, change the filing status of the state return to mail and then e-file the federal return.
Why does it say Tax Year 2021 transmission is not available?
I'm using TurboTax Business and Texas Franchise Tax for my returns.

The Texas corporation forms are currently available for printing but are not yet ready for efiling purposes. They are scheduled to become available for efiling today 2/18/2022, according to the table below. But no telling what time that will occur, and sometimes the projected date is moved back. So keep checking this table:
Availability dates for TurboTax Business Texas forms
I am having the same issue. I have a federal return and two state returns. All actions have been completed with the exception of transmitting the returns.
I am filing in WI and I received the same error this morning. All of my forms say they are available today!
Wi business S Corp - also unable to transmit state efile - same error that was reported for Rhode Island
I want to report back that I was successfully able to transmit my NC state taxes about thirty minutes ago. Here's hoping it is not an anomaly.
I finally got to submit my federal but got to wait til the 28th to file my state.
This continues to be a major BUG with TurboTax Business 2021 desktop version.
We paid a lot a money for this software and it is still not working. When attempting to e-file, we get a transmission error message. Intuit support says they are aware of this problem and are working on the bug fix.
How do we escalate this problem?
How do I change the State Return back to efile after efiling the Federal and setting Print to State until their forms were ready? This is for the Software Version, not the Online Version of TurboTax?
Click on File. Select E-file. On the next screen change the state return to e-file and the federal return to Do not e-file now.
having the same problem. Been on the phone to TT and no help

This is a 5-page thread with multiple users with multiple variations. "Same problem" is not enough info to go on for any comments. You should explain your situation in full to see if anyone has a suggestion.
