Why does my federal return rejected I fixed what it said needed fixing and it still gets rejected and why can't I e-file my state return

No one here can see your return. What was the rejection code?  You cannot e-file a State return until your Federal return is accepted.  Once your Federal return is fixed you will be able to e-file your State return with your Federal return.
