e-File PIN for 2020 return

I have read in this site that the e-File PIN is not last year's AGI. However, the e-File PIN allows 5 characters, so which 5 of the AGI should be used if not exactly 5? Once I figure this out, what e-File PIN should be used for my spouse in the case of a joint return?

Are you referring to an IP Pin?  If you need an IP (Identity Protection) PIN to file your taxes, you can retrieve your IP PIN online. Please click on this link: Get an IP PIN 

Or you could be referring to the 5 digit self selected pin.  This can be any 5 digits and do not need to be the same year to year.
