I am a Canadian working in the US on a TN visa. I have passed the substantial presence test for the year so I am considered a resident alien. Does TurboTax fully support my situation? Are there any extra filings I should be aware of?

Bumping this to try for a response 🙂
@LordEarendil , first my apologies for such a long delay in responding. Please do forgive -- my fault.
TN visa ( while exclusive ) does not change anything as far as tax reporting goes. You use the same tests ( Substantial Presence Test ) to delineate Non-Resident vs. Resident tax filing.
As a resident you are taxed on your world income ( just like US citizens) and therefore all the deductions / credits etc. are all available to you.
TurboTax can indeed handle all the situations that are applicable to a tax filing for the USA and for the State. My personal bias is towards download/ CD version of Home & Business ( while being most expensive ) because (a) it covers all situations including foreign tax credits, rental prop. etc. ) and (b) all the work is done my machine and files are stored thereon and I can get to them as and when required. For your particular case though, the deluxe may be sufficient unless you have properties in Canada and/or incomes from sources outside the USA and are also taxed by another jurisdiction(s).
Does this answer you query ?
Is there more I can do for you ?
