Do you receive any form if you are in a union to file taxes?
Besides reporting line 14 on a w-2, is there anything else you need to do when filing taxes if you are in a union?
I'm in CA by the way.

Do you receive any form if you are in a union to file taxes?
California allows a deduction for union dues.
- Click on the Federal Taxes tab.
- Go to Deductions & Credits.
- Click I'll Choose What to Work on.
- Scroll down to Job-Related Expensesunder Employment Expenses.
- Click Start.
- Answer yes for the question Do you have any employment expenses for W-2 work?
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Enter Union Dues on the page Any Other Expenses?
