Disaster relief tax due delay

Hello,

According to this page: https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-announces-tax-relief-for-victims-of-severe-winter-storms-flooding-l...

Due to being located in Ventura county, I can file, and pay my taxes owed, on 5/15/2023. However turbo tax will not let me choose this date. How can I choose that date to file and pay my taxes?

You will need to log back into your TurboTax on the date you want to e-file and pay.

TurboTax will not file your return now with a future date of May 15th entered. The date you file your return is the date your return will be transmitted to the IRS. If you are ready to file and not ready to pay, you can go through the e-filing steps and select "Choose to Pay by Check", and continue to efile.

When you are ready to pay your taxes, you can mail a check to the address shown on the filing instruction printed with your return.

You can also use the IRS.Gov/Direct Pay link to pay when you are ready.
