My adult son and my brother both live with me. My son receives SSDI and had NO other income. My brother receives SSI ( disabled since birth) and also had NO other income. Will My claiming them as dependents effect their Social Security?

I was told before when selecting dependent with disability that a child with an IEP was considered yes. Is that correct?
