I was charged the wrong amount for my service because my nursing discount through id.me removed itself at checkout. Why can I get no responses from customer service for months ?

We have no idea what nursing discount you expect from "ID.me"-----TurboTax has nothing to do with that.

 

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”

Im so happy you took your time out of your day to make a snotty reply. Obviously I have no idea how this works or how to get in touch with anyone and customers and service. The phone calls lead to nowhere

I looked around at ID.me, and there is a TurboTax discount for nurses and certain other groups through the ID.me shopping website.   But I don't know how it works.  I presume when you use the special TurboTax link there to accept the offer, it signs you in via ID.me and sets a cookie that applies the discount; i.e., that cookie would be how TurboTax knows to apply the discount at checkout.    But if it's like other affiliate discounts, one has to keep using the same log-in method each time, or the cookie might disappear.  Again, I don't know anything about how that ID.me partner shopping works.   But if that cookie disappeared, then maybe that's why the discount disappeared at checkout.   In any case, you can discuss that with TurboTax Support when you reach them by phone.
