Chrome is definitely the problem. When I changed my default browser to Edge I got prompted about whether I want to link the information to another app. Once I approved the import went through just fine.
I was having the same issue with DA Davidson in Chrome. CatinaT1's suggestion to look at the Local Network Access setting did the trick. Toggled that on and worked.
I have made multiple attempts today (Edge browser) with no success. I have turned off my web protection and still no joy. It brings the account number and no data. I've been with TT for decades but this is a dealbreaker.
What error are you seeing when you try to import? Try switching to Chrome, use an incognito window, and clear Cache and Cookies between attempts. Did you change the LAN setting?
How can something so simple be failing. We buy this expensive software to automate and reduce manual entries. Ridiculous! Each year my frustration w/ Turbotax is reaching the point of diminishing returns.
Still not working! Import has been available from Schwab since Feb 14.
I got it to work on the 16th. After my accounts were linked I got a pop up asking if Intuit could access other Apps. I responded "Allow" and everything worked!
Im not getting that far. When I click edit it goes to the screen where there are the four boxes. If I click on the appropriate one, the system goes straight to manual. TT tech is ignoring the issue. Schwab doesn't seem aware of it. But it is clearly a bug in TT. It would be nice if they would let us know if they are even trying to fix it.
Some have received a message from Charles Schwab saying downloads would be enabled on Feb 27th.
If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.
To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings:
If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play:

I am having the same problem ever since Schwab said the tax documents were available.
This is beyond frustrating!
I used TurboTax for YEARS, and this is not acceptable!
Kudos, @CatinaT1! I reviewed a bunch of advice and tried different things, but only your advice resolved the issue! And it is so simple!
I am importing from more than one external source and received the message that they were successful, but when returning to TT, nothing was actually being imported into TT - so I can confirm that it is not a brokerage specific issue, but a system issue.
I followed your instructions to adjust the browser settings - specifically, I located the View Site Information icon (the "lock" icon) on the far left of the address bar, and used the drop-down menus to allow pop-ups AND local network access. This resolved the issue. Thank you!
TurboTax not able to import 1099 forms from Charles Schwab. I noticed today that the form has been released only in PDF format. I checked Schwab Tax documents and the XML or CVS formats are not available yet. Schwab support mentioned they will be available after Feb 27, 2026. Once those formats are available, I think the import should work. All prior years had 3 formats, PDF, XML and CVS.
Will wait till Feb 27 to see forms and try to import again.
That's not schwab told me. They said I've to enter all data manually. Very frustrating. Hope you're correct. Will wait until Feb. 28.
This is not a Schwab issue directly, TurboTax I assume reads XML or CVS. If you log into Schwab account what documents do you see for 1099. Them compare prior years and you will notice only 2025 has PDF, all other years it has PDF, XML and CVS. I can be wrong but too many years in IT tells me one of these formats is not yet available till this Friday. Crossing fingers cuz I don't want to enter in 20 pages of information.
I've PDF/XML/CSV visible in my schwab account but only 2 summary lines are in the CSV file. So, yes, it's a schwab issue. I hope they resolve soon and upload all the lots for import.
Since the IRS already has copies of all your 1099's, a Summary Total is all that is required on your tax return.
