Charitable contributions - Get printout

Using Turbotax Home and Business...

Is there a way to get a listing of the Charitable Contributions made?

My wife contributes to perhaps 50 charities and she handwrites :( them along with the amounts then I enter each of them in TT.

While I can see the list under View-Forms, I'd like to get a list I could import to Excel.

Thank you!

Thank you!  Great advice.

I gave a printed screen print of the list of charities from the "Forms" View for her to write in the amounts given as she writes checks this year.  that works OK.  Not as nice as using Excel, but OK nevertheless.

Thanks again.

Frankpc,

The Windows desktop versions of TurboTax, and presumably those on the Mac, do not permit copy-paste from their screens.  Presumably related to partially protect their product from plagiarism or other misuse.

You can, though copy-paste off the PDF tax form that you can save via the Print Center at the very top of the TurboTax window.  You will undoubtedly have to do some manipulation when you copy paste and import into a spreadsheet, but it won't be rocket science.

I do, though, strongly urge you to retain those handwritten papers as they are better evidence of the contributions than just a spreadsheet list.
