CanI use turbo tax on a new 2022 mac air laptop ?

It is the OS not the hardware that needs to meet the TT system  requirements ... 2022 has not been posted yet but it probably is going to be 10.16 or better if it follows the previous trends ... and 2021 did work with M1. 

 

Here are the system requirements to install Turbo Tax for MAC…..
