If you are referring to your TurboTax online account, you can still use it to file your taxes. Here is more information:
If you have already filed a 2018 or 2019 tax return and provided the banking information for a refund on the return, you do not need to do anything. the IRS will likely send you the fund through your given bank account.
If you have already filed and did not provide any banking information ( if you end up owing), the IRS will likely send you a check.
If you want to update your banking information ( direct deposit), you cannot go back to the TurboTax program to edit. Click here:https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments
If you are not required to file, click here: https://turbotax.intuit.com/stimulus-check/, scroll down to "Register"
If you are being rejected through the Registration process, use the IRS link: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/non-filers-enter-payment-info-here
I've already filed my taxes, but I didn't enter the information for my bank account. I've been trying to enter my information on the IRS website under "get my payment" every time i entered my information it will tell me that my information doesn't matches with theres. My question is why is it saying that when I'm getting my information from my 1040 form from 2019.
The IRS Portal is new, not everyone's data may be uploaded yet.
I’ve also used my 1040 information from 2018 and it’s still telling me my information doesn’t match with theirs. I don’t know what to do anymore.
