You may need to explain that more.  Deluxe for Mac is a desktop product.  So first of all, if you used desktop Deluxe for Mac last year, do you have the 2023 data file?  It ends with the *.tax2023 file extension.   Are you able to find the *.tax2023 file from last year?

If you have that file on your compute or can't find it, see if this FAQ helps.   Otherwise please explain more about what step is giving you a problem.

Well, thanks for the 1st part. Yes I find that file. It shows in Apps.

So that is encouraging. I'll check the FAQ to see why TT2024 can't find it.

Thank you thank you. Got it imported.

Now I have a different issue. I forgot to save it & it asked me to do that. But I had changed screen resolution so I could read the text better. & now to answer the security question its off the bottom of the page.

You're welcome.  But I don't know much about Mac's or a security question.  If you can't see it, sounds like you need to change the resolution back.

& I scrolled around & reduced size so I could see the field to enter the answer so got state downloaded. So hopefully ready to start in the morning

Thanks for the help. I have not tried to open it after importing 2023 & also downloading state. Those should all be ready to go. 

But I haven’t gotten back to it to open & start filling in the return. I did enter the basics of name & all. So I think in ready to start entering.
