Yes, you can click the tabs "PERSONAL INFO", "FEDERAL TAXES", "STATE TAXES" to make any changes you entered before you file your return.

Can I change information before filing?

As long as you have not e-filed your return, you can add new information. If you have e-filed and your return was accepted by the IRS, you will need to amend your return.

If you have closed and saved the return and are having a hard time getting back into the return. follow these instructions:

 

Log back in your TurboTax account and

  • "add a state" to open the return back up (you are not really adding a state, just to open it back up).
  • This will bring you back into your return.

To add the interest:

  • At the upper right corner, in the search box, type in 1099int then Enter 
  • Select "Jump to 1099int " 
  • Follow prompts
