Gemini is telling me that it's an IRS database issue but not sure I buy that since the error is with entering the data not the submission. It is impacting all tax software based on this thread though.
I spoke with a Turbo Tax representative this morning and after going through all the standard checks she preceded to tell me they are aware of the issue and still working on an update. An hour wasted to hear what I have already read online. No estimate as to when they will have an update
I am having the same issue with TT not accepting the Weil McLain 46H2 info, and have been waiting for weeks for this to be resolved. Am quite disappointed about this. It may be my last TT year after decades -this product has slowly deteriorated over the last few years.
When will this be fixed?
*Edit: Meanwhile, while I was reading the posts and posting this, I received 10 emails congratulating me on getting badges and reading the posts, etc. Are you kidding me? Just fix the field please!!
Me too. About ten emails from Intuit about Gold Level Status, earning a badge etc. Wow. Wee. Wow wee. Fix the f***ing problem!
Totally agree with this user. TT should fix the problem.
Just a note that the format for the code is Letter - Number - Letter - Number
For Weil McLain it may translate to V6H2
Be careful - The web says "No, the correct 2025 Qualified Manufacturer (QM) Code for Weil-McLain is 46H2, not V6H2" Based on the provided search results, the code v6h2 does not appear in the listed, commonly cited 2025 Qualified Manufacturer Identification (QMID) codes for the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credit
...one of my giant pet peeves is too many bells and whistles, not enough solid infrastructure. Badges? Emails with kudos? No thank you. Bug fix, bring it ASAP-it's overdue.
So, I have finished my taxes, paid TT to submit to my state, and now have refunds pending because of this field. Would I be allowed to charge TT interest for every day that I do not get to file and get my refunds?
I had the same issue that has been discussed on this page, and the V6H2 worked for me! Thank you!
