If you are an actor that only gets W-2 income, you would input your W-2 just like any other employee. Moreover, if all your work is as a W-2 employee, you cannot deduct expenses related to that income on your tax return. They are unreimbursed business expenses and there is not deduction for those expenses. You other business expenses you can deduct on a Schedule C, but none that are related to your W-2 income.
Thank you for your response @DavidD66 . Let me clarify that the W2 forms are from acting related jobs. The production companies sent w2s. I don’t have any other income other than from acting and I did not receive an 1099s.
Then you are not self-employed and should not be filing Schedule C. This means your business related expenses are not deductible.
