Amend

I have already filed a amend back in May am I waiting for a printed check in the mail separate from the unemployment refund that I already received. Are the Amends only coming out in check form or direct deposit as well.

Tax refunds from an amended tax return are only sent as a check mailed to the address on the amended tax return.  There are no direct deposits of tax refunds from an amended tax return.

It is taking the IRS 6 months or longer to process an amended tax return.
